Shortly before her mother broke free of Alzheimer’s Disease and entered eternal life, her mom challenged her to “take good care of your people”. By helping individual families as well as teaching and training others to impact the lives of those living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, Beth hopes to fulfill the promise she made and ultimately fulfill the mission to which she has been called. Beth and her husband make their home in Lincoln, Nebraska. They have 3 grown children, a son-in-law and one silly little dog. In additional to teaching, training and writing, she enjoys fitness, traveling and sunset watching.
About The Book
If you love someone with dementia, then you may find yourself wishing you had a map to better navigate this diagnosis. I had those same feelings when my mom had Alzheimer’s. This book is designed to give you an aerial view of this disease and how you can navigate it without losing your mind in the process. Where to go, who to see, what decisions need to be made along with discussion questions will begin to help you through this journey.
